Simplify Your Duplication with These 5 Handy Gadgets
Like most guys, I am in love with gadgets. Gadgets are small, cleverly designed objects that serve a specific purpose. Gadgets are everywhere in our daily lives such as in the kitchen, in the car, and in our pockets. This got me thinking: what kind of gadgets exist to help with CD duplication and DVD duplication?
The following is a list of five gadgets that I feel really stand out by making duplication faster and easier.
#5 – Portable CD/DVD Duplicator
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to make copies of CD and DVD discs on the go? The Accutower 1-to-1 duplicator does just that! This portable machine is small enough to fit in a carry-on bag or small suitcase, so you can bring it with you at a moment’s notice. Best of all, the Accutower 1-to-1 is completely stand-alone, which means it does not need a computer to operate. At under $200 dollars, it is easily the most convenient way to copy discs on the spot, wherever you are.
#4 – CD/DVD Label Applicator
Lots of people print their own CD/DVD labels so they can create customized discs without spending a fortune. Applying the labels to the disc can be challenging, especially if you are using miniature or business card CDs. Thankfully, a CD label applicator makes the job MUCH easier. These little gadgets make it easy to get perfectly centered labels every time. If you are printing your own labels, let me assure you that a label applicator is well worth the investment.
#3 – Adhesive CD/DVD Hubs
We’ve all heard of using paper sleeves and plastic cases to store discs. However, nothing comes close to convenience of adhesive disc hubs. Simply peel them off the backing and press them on to any surface. Then, attach the disc! At just a few pennies each, adhesive hubs are great for inserting discs into folders, binders, booklets, handouts, textbooks, mailings, catalogs, and more!
#2 – Free CD Labeling Software
I am aware that software is not a gadget in the traditional sense. However, you can still carry this neat label design program with you in your pocket by downloading it to a USB flash drive. DiscStudio software allows you to design, save, and print your own CD/DVD labels from any PC. Best of all, this software is completely free and fully functional. Download DiscStudio design software today!
#1 – Metal CD/DVD Spindles
My favorite gadget for disc duplication is the metal CD/DVD spindle. Spindles may seem like a low-tech item, but they are actually very well-engineered devices. Take for example the tapered metal rod that allows discs to slide on and off the spindle without getting stuck. Then, there is the weighted base that helps prevent spindles from tipping over if bumped accidentally. Heavy-duty construction makes these spindles great for storing and moving up to 200 discs at a time.
If you do your own CD or DVD duplication at home or at the office, I would recommend checking out the duplication gadgets mentioned above. All of them are simple, affordable products that will help you accomplish specific tasks more efficiently and conveniently than ever before.
